This is my attempt at trying to relate. I don't really feel like I ever do. It's hard being an earthling, but I'm trying. Thanks for checking me out. I hope you find something interesting.

If Jesus ran for the Republican nomination

If I were a Republican, I could easily dismiss this lampooning. I would simply say that what Jesus taught and what the government should do are two separate issues. Even as a non-republican, some of this concept rings true to me. The problem is that these Republicans have no right to do that. Think of the Rick Perry ad or fucking Newt Gingrich speaking. Just think of him standing behind that podium talking about how we need to turn back to God. That’s why this brilliant bit rings so true.
